DAVID BOWIE AND IMAN

English singer-songwriter and actor David Bowie was highly acclaimed for his innovative work in the music industry. Over the course of his career, Bowie sold over a hundred million records worldwide. He was awarded ten platinum-certified albums in the UK and five platinum certifications in the US. Born David Robert Jones in Brixton, South London, Bowie found interest in music as a child, especially when his father brought home a disc record by various artists like Elvis Presley, the Teenagers, and Fats Domino.

Since then, he made significant impact and investments in the music scene and was named the “Greatest Rock Star Ever” by the Rolling Stone following his passing in 2016. Standing by his side in his most challenging time was his wife, Somali-American model Iman. They wed in April 1992, had one daughter, and were married for 24 years.
