HOWIE LONG AND DIANE ADDONIZIO

Howie Long is a retired National Football League star known for his on-the-pitch tactics for the Oakland Raiders. Throughout his 13-year-long career, he garnered achievements, including being a Super Bowl XVII champion. He was also awarded Pro-Bowl eight times and was chosen as a First-team All-Pro three times. There is no doubt that he is a very good football player.

Well, Howie credits his better half, Diane Addonizio, as his inspiration to succeed in his chosen field. The lady is a non-practicing lawyer. They met in college while earning a major in Classical Studies and Howie Long fell in love with his lady quickly. They walked down the aisle in 1982 and have three sons, the eldest and the middle sons are now playing football, too. They are now together for 38 years and have inspired many college sweethearts to have a long-lasting marriage!
