BARBARA EDEN – 89 YEARS OLD

Barbara Eden’s career highlight is no doubt her role as Jeannie in the hit sitcom of the 60s I Dream of Jeannie that made her a household name during that era. She also had humble beginnings and experienced early struggles in her life.

She and her family were affected by the Great Depression of the 30s that led to many businesses closing out because of bankruptcy. With that, she was thought of a way to earn a couple of cash and because of her talent, she easily got herself in a local band and that basically was the start of her fruitful career as an entertainer. Up until today, we can still see her in a couple of television series and movies such as the 2019 film My Adventures with Santa and in an episode for the reality television show Long Island Medium.
