ALI MACGRAW – 82 YEARS OLD
Ali MacGraw, born in Poundridge, New York, in 1938, majored in drama and art history at Wellesley University. After graduating in 1960, he worked as an assistant editor of “Vogue” magazine and became an assistant fashion photographer. In 1967, he became a well-known fashion model. In 1968, he began to develop into the film industry.
Ali MacGraw was one of those actresses that made a significant impact starting from the get-go. She first started out in her debut film A Lovely Way to Die and within a year, she quickly became not only a household name but an international sensation after she portrayed Brenda Patinkin in the 1969 film Goodbye, Columbus. She also brought home the Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer and a nomination slot for a BAFTA Award for Best Newcomer in that movie. Even though she found early success, she only made a couple of films throughout her career. But unlike most of her peers, she never really came close to going into bankruptcy.
