BERN NADETTE STANIS – 67 YEARS OLD

Bern Nadette Stanis is a well-respected author and actress in Hollywood, especially during the 70s. Stanis began to participate in the Miss African American pageant when he was a teenager, and has become Miss Brooklyn for several years. It was this title that made her the runner-up of the Miss New York pageant. She played the part of Thelma Ann Evans–Anderson in the hit CBS sitcom Good Times.

Stanis also appeared in a couple of shows after her project ended. Some people suggest that in the latter part of her career, she appeared in a commercial for Nationwide Insurance. Stanis also tried her luck in writing books and became successful in that regard as well. We last saw her on our screen in an episode for the sitcom Black Jesus and in the film 36 Hour Layover, both in 2015.
