Another proof of how comedy can make one rich is this feat of Jim Carrey, amassing a stunning $150 million of net worth from his hard work. Although he played multiple roles throughout his career, it was, however, all with comedy elements to some degree. But okay, maybe there might be some roles he portrayed that somehow showed his versatility as an actor like that one in the thriller movie, The Number 23, where was well noted for his outstanding performance. Though no formal announcement of his retirement from the industry is made yet, that doesn’t mean he’s not preparing for it. In fact, we think he’s been probably busy setting up his investments and some business ventures, from which his retirement money would be sourced from. But then again, who knows, he might have a big bulk in-store already and he’s just busy enjoying his lot.
He made a big-screen comeback in 2018 when he was cast to play the role of Dr. Robotnik in the Sonic the Hedgehog film. 2020 has indeed been an excellent year for Carrey as he received positive reviews for his role. He also published Memoirs and Misinformation: A Novel in late 2020. Without a doubt, the cherished comedian’s been having fun with his projects lately while making decent cash along the way.
